Speaker Bios:

Glenn Schneck is currently employed at SunTrust Banks, Inc., as the Subject Matter Expert for CICS and MQSeries on z/Series. He was involved in the creation of the mainframe High Availability environment at SunTrust, as well as participating in the area of server consolidation onto z/Linux.
Schneck has been in the IT industry for 32 years and has been involved with CICS since 1984, working for well known companies such as Equitable Life, M&M Mars and The Walt Disney Company. He has been a presenter at SHARE, has been involved with the CICS Project at SHARE and participated in several non-disclosure meetings with IBM Hursley.

Steve Craggs has spent over 30 years in the software business since graduating from Oxford in Mathematics with Honours. For the first 20 years Steve worked for IBM where he had various programming, product management, strategy, marketing and sales roles, culminating in Steve becoming the worldwide executive in charge of IBM’s middleware business. Steve then left IBM to build an application integration business for Candle Corporation before founding Saint Consulting Limited, a global management consultancy, in 1999. In 2007, Steve also founded Lustratus, a global market analyst and advocacy company focused on all aspects of integration and SOA, with a reputation for independence and a focus on putting technology advances and their business impacts into context for its clients. Steve’s specialities include SOA (Service-Oriented Architectures), ESB (Enterprise Service Buses), Web Services, BPM/BPA (Business Process Management/Analytics), EDA (Event-Driven Architectures), Customer Data Integration (CDI), Legacy/Mainframe systems and all forms of business integration. Steve is well known in the industry, appearing regularly in the press and presenting at seminars and trade shows, and advising Wall Street investment analysts on software market dynamics and investments.
